Toll Processing Service

Toll ProcessingToll processing is an industry term that describes performing a service on a product for another company. Plastic toll processing includes pelletizing, or grinding of plastic scrap. Plastic extruders, injection molders, and blow molders will produce some level of scrap material. The scrap comes in forms of defective parts, purgings, bales and film rolls. Some scrap can also include outdated inventory that no longer serves any purpose. With toll processing, the scrapped plastic is collected and transported to a recycling facility in either a gaylord box, or a skid bounded with stretch wrap. The plastic recycling center will recycle the scrap by pelletizing or shredding it and send it back to the manufacturer.

With plastic toll processing there's no investment in expensive recycling equipment or industry knowledge required since the toll processing company does all the work. Additionally, by partnering with a toll processor like Recycling Solutions, you can eliminate most of your plastic scrap, save money on virgin resin and prevent your scrap from ending up in a land fill.

We can warehouse your post industrial plastic scrap and your recycled pellets. Think of our warehouse as your warehouse. This is especially helpful for injection molders, & extruders who are tight on space. When you're ready for a pick up or delivery, we'll arrange for a truck at your convenience.

Recycling Solutions offers plastic toll processing services. Located in the Chicago suburb of Elk Grove Village, we can provide local pick up of your industrial plastic scrap, process it and return it your location.
